Registration and Payment

  1. Acceptance of Registration Forms is at the discretion of the JC Events. Confirmation, invoices and receipts will be provided. The JC Events reserves the right to decline any Registration Form, if so the JC Events will refund monies that have been paid.
  2. The JC Events will not consider any Registration Form without the requisite Fee (all Fees are expressed as GST inclusive amounts). The JC Events reserves the right to change the Fee at any time but changes will not affect registrations already confirmed.
  3. Some Events offered by the JC Events have limited places available. Registration, or attendance where pre-registration is not required, is on a “first-in” basis.
  4. If the JC Events has invited you to attend an Event without the need for payment of the Fee, you are required to register for the event in order to reserve your position.
  5. For certain Events, the JC Events may offer to facilitate Accommodation through the Registration Form. If so, any bookings made through the JC Events is subject to the relevant Hotels’ own terms and conditions including cancellations (available on the Hotels’ website) and you are liable for all costs connected with your stay and use of the Accommodation.

Cancellation

  1. Where permitted, you may cancel your registration. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent by email to the Conference Secretariat ([email protected]).
  2. For a Conference, if your cancellation notification is received by the JC Events: 

a)      Cancellation more than 30 days before the event: 100% refund;

b)      Cancellation less than 30 days and more than 20 days before the event: 90% refund;

c)      Cancellation less than 20 days, but more than 10 days: 80% refund; and

d)      Cancellation 10 days or less, no refund.

  1. Any funds retained by JC Events when issuing a refund are a genuine pre-estimate of reasonable costs that JC Events will have incurred at the time of the cancellation.
  2. Refunds will not be granted if you fail to attend.
  3. For Accommodation, you may cancel your Accommodation by contacting the Accommodation provider directly. Your accommodation Fee will be refundable subject to the Hotel’s cancellation policy.
  4. Cancellation does not terminate our agreement with you, which continues until resolution of all outstanding matters are met to the JC Events’ satisfaction.

Privacy Statement

  1. Protecting your privacy and your personal information is an important aspect of the way the JC Events conducts its activities, online and offline.
  2. You acknowledge you may be filmed, recorded and/or photographed by the JC Events, the media or any other party at the Event and consent to the JC Events using the film, sound and/or photograph for JC Events editorial, promotion, publicity and advertising purposes.
  3. By submitting a Registration Form, you consent to the JC Events collecting, using and disclosing your personal information (including credit card information) to administer the Event. This may include the production of delegate lists and photographs to Event sponsors or for marketing and related uses and updating your continual professional development record, unless notified otherwise. The JC Events will disclose personal information relating to credit card details for payment processing only.

  5. In all other aspects, the JC Events will collect, use and disclose personal information provided to it in accordance with its Privacy Statement.
